all i need to do is paint my old 1997 honda civic!!!! i wont buy a 100000 dollar booth for a car thats gonna be painted once! is it ok to paint it outside? or in a container… what outside temperature is best, im painting on summertime, is it better in the evening, at about 28 oC or in the mid day under hot sun, 39 oC?

I used to paint in open sky. yeah i used to catch one or two mosquitos but my neighbours dont care and even cars painted inside a paint room sometimes need a buff in the end. I do prefer a paint room but some jobs are just not worth the price

My neighbor was a body and fender man for 8 years and did everything from chop tops to bikes that were in bike mags and cars in his two car garage. 12000 cfm is for slapping paints jobs day in and day out. In a 2 car garage it takes two days for the shit to settle but if your just doing a car once in a while it works out lot better then the ding bat in the vid said.

@1968DodgePolara i am going to paint my vette in my garage ,..you got any tips for me ? i am going to close the door onto four square window fans and have 2 fans blowwing in fresh air from a side door the place is clean as i just painted the garage so i will wet floor down or was thinking maybe just cover floor with a brand new tarp and of course i will be shutting off the gas water heater and such i have painted stuff in there without the fans but never a whole car
Just paint your car in your garage make sure its clean and the floor in damp so dust from the floor want fly up when spraying and do one section at a time reclean after the section is dry and ready for next coat I paint 2 cars a Month so its not cost effective too have a paint booth for what I do .
@bluesmanreturns you can rent one out from a body shop usually.
